Strawberry Protein Smoothie

This is a great way to start your morning!

1 c unsweetened almond milk (or nonfat milk)

1/3 c fresh or frozen strawberries

1 scoop Shakeology, any flavour (I use Chocolate. Super Yum!)

1 tbsp flaxseeds (I use ground flaxseeds)

1 c ice

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Savour the flavour. Enjoy!

VABB (Vanilla Almond Butter Banana) Shakeology

This is one of the first Shakeology recipes I created to satiate my taste buds! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Vanilla Almond Butter Banana 

1/2 cup – 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I use So Good) – the more almond milk you add, the creamier your shake will be

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

1 tbsp almond butter

1/2 banana

Add all ingredients to your Magic Bullet or blender, blend until smooth.

Tip: I make my Shakeology first thing in the morning, and refrigerate it until I’m ready to drink it. This gives it time for the flavours to blend. Dee-licious!

Choco Banana Almond Shakeology

Ok, so Les and I have been using Shakeology for a while now, and we are both fine tuning our favourite recipes. Chocolate is a winner, hands down! It’s amazing to have something so nutritious that also tastes amazing! Without further adieu, here is one way to enjoy your healthiest meal of the day:

Choco Banana Almond Shakeology Drink

In a blender or mixer (I use a Magic Bullet, but any kind will do), add together:

1/2 banana, cut into pieces

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 cup water

1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology (or 1 packet if you are using single serving pouches)

Blend until creamy. Drink. Love. Enjoy.
